At current prices, with the current system, healthcare for everyone sounds like more than we can afford. But with billions of dollars wasted, with healthcare costs crippling many American businesses, and with tens of millions Americans unable to access good healthcare even if they have some form of insurance, the need for universal health care is undisputed. How we get it is another issue.
